Kristopher Asuncion is a Southern California native and has spent the last 10 years in the Bay Area. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of California, Irvine. More recently, he earned his Master’s in Education with an emphasis in STEAM Education from the University of San Diego. Kris has been part of the LASD community since 2015 having taught both 7th and 8th grade levels of maths. “I love working with my students; they are some of the brightest and hardworking students I have ever met.” When he’s not teaching, you may find him with friends at a Korean barbeque restaurant, reading a book under a tree in the park, coaching wrestling, planning his next international vacation, or flying a kite.
