I'm thrilled to begin my twentieth year as a middle school English teacher, and 9th year working in the Los Altos School District at Blach Intermediate School.  Quite honestly, there is nothing else I'd rather do than be an educator.  My most gratifying teaching moments include helping  match kids up with that "just right" book, and showing students how much fun writing can be.  I am an avid reader, mother to three boys, and former Blach Falcon.  That's right: I attended school in Los Altos, at Oak, Blach, and Mountain View High School.  I am thrilled to have the opportunity to be a part of the community that I grew up in.  In my free time, you can find me exploring the bay area hiking trails, flying kites at the beach, whipping up a gourmet meal, or doing my best to keep my plants alive.
